Meeting the Challenges of Today's Market...


I was referred to Ryan Realty by a very close friend who recently sold their property with Beth's help.  My friend told me that Beth was a hard worker and will go the extra mile to close the deal.  An extra mile that was.

Taking into consideration today's housing market, everyone was discouraging me from trying to sell.  I decided to to list my property with Ryan Realty.  Beth setup several open houses and scheduled many showings.  After about 6 weeks, a young couple showed interest in my condo as well as another unit in my building.  The other unit had many updates including hardwood floors and it looked as though I was at a disadvantage.  We received a very low offer which we countered with $2,000 lower from the original listing price. 

This is where Beth proved her tenacity and professionalism.  She was in constant negotiation with the buyers and my decision to counter was based on Beth's experience and instinct.  The negotiation went far beyond what anyone would expect.  We went back and forth about 8-10 times before finally both parties agreed on a price.  Now, the most important fact is that the price we agreed on was only 4% lower then my original listing price.  After all, despite the housing market slump, I not only closed in 60 days, but also made a profit.

Beth was very professional throughout the whole process and I know there is no way on earth I could have done this without her.  If you want your place to be handled with professionalism and care, then Ryan Realty is the way to go.
